Kenya Autie is a Producer, Songwriter, and Studio Owner. She studied guitar in the Conservatory of Guanabacoa, Havana, Cuba and was the first woman to play guitar in a rock band in Cuba, her country of birth. At the time, rock was frown upon by the government, so it was very difficult to find venues, or even rehearsal spaces. However, she managed to play and was an inspiration for other women to start playing guitar and other instruments in rock bands as well.
Kenya has participated in the production of the following projects:
- Arise Above Abuse, Co-Producer (2015)
- Clave: Chamber Music, Vol VI, Co-Producer (2016)
- Stand Before The Systems, Co-Producer (2016)
- Presidential Suite, Assistant Producer (2016)
She is currently Co-Producing other projects which will be released between 2016 and 2017.
